I know this probably sounds stupid but what are shocks used for? Is it so the vehicle doesn't drive as hard? I have an appointment on Monday to get my shocks changed and I don't want to be duped.
the springs improve the riding of the truck while it is moving. thus making it better to ride in and lessening the wear and tear on the truck. shocks use compressed air to deaden the "bouncing" of the springs and help keep the coil springs aligned.
