My third Ranger....2004 4x4 wth the 4.0 engine. Just crossed 207,000 miles. Love this truck and since the wise folks at Ford have discontinued this truck I am shooting for 300,000 miles.
Question....seems that most of the rubber bushings in my front end are sqeaking like crazy. It has gotten worse with the cold weather. When I pull into the parking lot at work it sounds like many people are having sex in the back of my truck!
I have tried spraying with lithium, soap and then silicone. None of this helped. I do most of my own work but I don't know the names of those front end parts.
Any thoughts?

How old are the shocks? Usually when bushings in the suspension are squeaking, it's about time to start replacing things and I'd think that anything else would show up in the handling.
Also check bushings for wear, ask a friend to push down on bumber while you look under the truck for the noise! I had same problem with my Mercury, took a couple of times but got it done!!!
