I have a 1999 Ford Ranger ( 4CYL. ) 2.5 90,000 miles on it and would like to know if I would change over too a Synthetic Motor Oil in it would I increase the MPG? Also would you improve the Performance of the engine?

What other benefits would I archive by going to a Synthetic Motor Oil?

Which Brand of Synthetic Motor Oil is the Cadillac of Motor Oils?

maybe slightly improve gas mileage by a fraction. may reduce engine wear on start up. and reduce break down for longer life of oil. thus longer you can go between oil changes. does not sludge up supposedly. bad side is some time this sludge prevents oils leaks that have formed from worn gaskets and seals and when sludge is removed by synthetic. leak become bigger. thus the myth that synthetic oil to regular oil changes are a no.no.
