Hi,
I have a 94 Ranger with 44,000 miles that I recently purchased and noticed that the temp gage never moves from C. The truck is not overheating, so I am wondering if the gage is defective or maybe the thermostat is stuck. Any ideas?

I had the same problem when I bought my truck. I replaced the thermostat and it fixed it. Took all of 15 min. And damn those are some low ass miles for a '94!

Thanks, I will change that. Yea, man, I bought this truck from a little old lady, and the whole truck looks like new. Several minor things keep popping up, like the ABS lights stays on somtimes?

I also have a 94 Ranger, A/T, and it does the same thing. It will just get off of the "C". I thought about changing the T-stat. Let me know if it works.

My 94 had about 45,000 on it when I bought it from my father in laws estate last year (has about 60,000 on it now). He had it for about 5 years and just drove around town.
