temp sensor problem

I put a new temp sensor in my 99 Ranger 4.0. Now the gauge doesn't work at all. It is one of those 1 wire deals on the sensor. How do I ground it out?

Re: temp sensor problem

there is only one wire, it grounds to the engine, if it doesnt work you probably dont have 12v to the sensor, or its bad
