i have a 94 3.0L that has just failed the NOX (ppm) low speed emissions test.

standard = 1046
reading = 2463

i pass high speed

can anyone help explain what might be causing this?

bad cats, bad o2 sensors. Enriched system? bad egr can cause some of this as well.


Just a few things. Yeah I know about it since that was some of the issues brought up when my impala did the same thing.

The most common problem is the EGR, Ford saw fit to put a weak system on their vehicle's. Next up as the man said is the "CAT" Have you been getting worse milage lately? This is a good sign
