Does the timing chain or belt on Rangers need to be changed? I have 110,000 miles on my truck and haven't replaced it yet. I thought that all vehicles need replacement sooner or later.

Depending on how safe you want to feel, you can change it every 100000 ks or every couple of years.
but if you like living on the edge i wouldnt change it

I would change it. It is a recommended change at 100k miles if I remember correctly

I have heard at 60,000 to 70,000 miles to be safe. Thats when I replaced mine.

Ford reccomend's 60,000. I change mine at 50,000 just for safty sake
