when i first bought my truck my transmission was throwing a code, it said something manufatured transmission control. i looked in some fourms and found out it mite me the tcc sensor (torque convert control sensor) so i got one off transmission parts usa, put it in doesn't the same thing. my truck shifts fine for about 15 miles then it starts shifting hard an sloppy, stop restart shifts fine again for say 15 more. so....just got done doing an intake gasket, i have done alot on this truck it keeps disapointing me :( anyways, now trans. in the morning takes a min it before the truck has a enought "pressure" as i would assume to move. it's like neutral then bang it slips in. then when i go to stop at a lite it shifts 1 to 2 back an forth my rpm gauge bounces. only when it's at a creep. any suggestions? pump,torqe converter? don't know STUMPED HELP!

I hate to ask the obvious...what are the fluid levels in the trannie? And examine the fluid-is it clear red or is it more brownish black with a burnt smell? The second may indicate the need for a more serious transmission repair.

Even just service-has the fluid and filter been changed ever?

yes i've changed the tranny fluid and the tcc sensor in the tranny. i'm thinking i need to hunt another one. i got my mother a 99 explorer and my truck with the same engine isn't even comparible.....dissapointed,but gotta take care of mom.
