Vacume leak
HEY well I have a 2.3liter 96 ranger no ac but have power steering manual tranny 180000 miles
I have heard a whistling sound for about a week now and my check engine light has came on. I know its a vacuum leak I haven't pulled the code yet but i will on my day of this wed and Thursday. I have already checked what i believe is the pcv vale and hose going from the top of the engine to the air filter all of that is good.
Does any one have a vacume hose diagram for the 2.3 engine??
Any ideas or does past experience tell you / me were my leak is it is a very faint leak and I barley can hear the whistling noise. She is idling fine but gas millage is suffering Thank you all for your time
