Re: VIN & color codes

It looks as if the Check Digit, The Year and the Sequence Number
are the culprits. Was your vehicle ever rebuilt or in an accident? It has the required 17 characters, is it possible you misread a number (ie: D for 0 maybe; I worked for FL DMV for 8 years and do know that there are no letter's I or O in a VIN)

Here is what I could find on your VIN

.: autobaza.pl :. VIN checker - decode VIN information

FORD

VIN: 1FTCR10X2TTA01548

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: UNITED STATES
MANUFACTURER: FORD
VEHICLE TYPE: TRUCK
GROSS VEHICLE WEIGHT: 4,001 - 5,000 GVWR HYDRAULIC
SERIES: RANGER XL 4X2 PICKUP-REGULAR CAB
ENGINE: 4.0L EFI V-6/14.6L I-6 3406 CTRPLLR
CHECK DIGIT: RESULT AVAILABLE IN COMMERCIAL VERSION
YEAR: RESULT AVAILABLE IN COMMERCIAL VERSION
ASSEMBLY PLANT: EDISON, NJ
SEQUENCE NUMBER: RESULT AVAILABLE IN COMMERCIAL VERSION

Here are some websites for decyphering a VIN

Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN codes)/Ford/VIN Codes - Wikibooks, collection of open-content textbooks

https://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenan...s/default.asp#

DA Paint Color looks as if it is Le Mans Blue from 1982 -1983
( Its almost at the bottom of the page
Ford Motor Company Colour Codes )

Hope this helps
