Unregistered Guest Posts: n/a	Warm Restart Rough Idle/Stalling 95 Ranger 4.0L Wondering if anyone has some tips for troubleshooting a warm restart idle issue with a 95 Ranger 4.0L. This vehicle has no problems starting after two hours or longer, but it sure has a rough time any time less than that. I do have a P0340 CMP sensor and/or circuit fault. I removed, cleaned and remouned the sensor, the code still comes back after resetting it. The error code and warm starting issues started at different times. So unless the sensor is getting worse and is affected by engine heat, I hope not because it doesn't sound cheap replacing the CMP sensor assembly, I don't know what to check next. Any help would be appreciated.
