I have a 2005 Ranger, 4X4, 4.0, automatic. New problem this week is that when you fire up in the morning (or anytime) turn on some tunes, and everything s just fine except when you put the truck in gear and the radio goes off. Put it in Neutral or park and the radio works fine. Put it in any gear or park and off she goes again. No recent work done to the truck or radio.

Any thoughts???

I have to admit, I'm not a radio person. I've had my car for 4 years and only had the radio on twice. I do know they have something that turns the radio volume to a medium setting if it's been pretty loud when you turn the ignition off and when you turn it back on it's not as loud.
