Righto Gang,

As one of the sidekicks of the 3Fb crew i thought i'd kickoff by organising a long awaited cruise for Saturday 30th of August.

The trek is up the Blue Mountains but with abit of a twist. I have decided to guide the group through some of the scenic sites and roads.
We'll start by gathering at the West bound Macca's on the M4 motorway at Eastern Creek. From there we'll head up the M4 to Mulgoa Road in Penrith and stop at the Nepean River bank, for photos etc.

Then we will proceed to the infamous old Bathurst Rd twisties with a manditory detour through Mitchell's Pass. We follow the hwy back up the mountains from Emuplains with a few detours of the highway on the way for some interesting driving.
At this stage i'm planning to have a stop at Wentworth falls lake for a stretch and then have our final stop and feed at the heart of the blue mountains 3 Sisters/Echo Point.

Just a small point to outline, these 3FB cruises are about socialising, having a laugh, eating and cruising with like minded people about Fords and cars. We do not care what one drives. So i encourage all of you to come along and socialise with fellow fordforum members if you have this day free.

Okay boys and girls, we're up and running on Strider's Magical Mountains Mystery Tour.

It's been a while coming and ages in the planning, but this should be a real laugh - not to mention a test of how many of us can get lost on the back roads :s6:

As per usual, the 3fb cruise will close out the evening with a great feed and the usual antics (beware of Team StickyDate�) but all Prawn based dishes will be banned for the evening.

More details on eats venue and precise locations in the next week or so, and we'll do our usual event run-down a few days before the cruise.

Darn, that's a weekend I have my kids. 50/50 proposition at this stage whether I can make it. Will probably depend on the times.

Sounds like a great run though.

ok things going to plan i will be there

new 3" exhaust being fitted this saturday, new springs (superlows), shocks, and swaybar going on the tuesday/wednesday after, possible shift kit, then a dyno tune on the friday

then fingers crossed all should be good for the saturday :s6:

maybe some of us could meet up on the sunday at the FORD & holden show??
