(ACT) Extra-Ordinary General Meeting

There will be an Extra-Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) of the FPV-Tickford Club of NSW, ACT Branch to elect a new Committee on Thursday 28th of October 2004 to be held at the Yowani Country Club, Lyenham at 7:30pm

Wouldn't it be easier to just move to the new club? I didn't think ACT could support two clubs of the same type.

It's still there. Its just that the ACT committee resigned. I don't think anyone will take it over.

the EGM is what is called a "Legal Fiction".

The truth is the FPV-TC of NSW ACT branch is deader than a dodo and all the members have moved to the new club.

But the fact remains you must complete all the proper forms regardless of reality. I'd be surprised if anyone even shows up with any real expectation of the old club branch continuing.
