Anyone intersted in Albury Cruise??

Due to the success of the cruise set up by carolyn and friends on the weekend, I have been thinking about having a similar cruise from the Albury / Wodonga area. I know that there is a couple of people posting here that are local and invite anyone and everyone to attent. (only 5 hours from sydney and 3 from melbourne:s5 :s6: ).

Was thinking about a cruise up to mount buffalo chalet or something.

Post here if interested and we may even set a date.

Yeah, if it's not raining I'd be in on this one. If it rains I'd have to bring the Camry - that might be a bit embarassing!

That makes 4 of us now, yes? Where is the enthusiasm for showing off our cars?

But I might suggest, if not for this cruise then another, what about making the meeting point at a half way spot in Victoria? That way it won't be too far for us from Melb or Geelong (thinking dollars for fuel!).

Somewhere like Heathcote - could get in some time on the track with our cars?

Lightbulb

What's with all the cars that can't come out in the rain? Are they made of sugar?

Botch, suggest a tentative date and we will let you know if we are free mate.

ok guys, how does this sound then

instead of meeting in albury, we could all meet at WINTON RACEWAY! which is 1 and a bit hours from Albury and 2 and a bit hours from melbourne.

We can hire the track (subject to availablility). On fridays the track is open to anyone (i think) and about $50 will get you the day out on the track.

the other alternative is to meet there on a sunday and get out there, but cost will be more and harder to book!

Otherwise we could meet in Albury / Wangaratta / Seymour or something. Any suggestions?

Ok, ill start with a date,, um............8th Feb? for a friday or 10th of feb for a sat???

Sounds good Botch,
I am free on that weekend at this stage. I also like the idea of Friday at Winton.
