Are any of you boys and girls going to be there? Either to race or watch.

I'll be taking my Falcon down for a few runs, from 3pm onwards. Got some 15" rubber to burn. :)

Now THAT was a fun way to spend an afternoon! I thoroughly enjoyed the day. I got 5 runs, ranging from 16.1 to 16.5 (last run). Yeah, it's slow, but the car's stock.

There were a few guys and girls from the club, and Simon was competing as well. We should also be getting a new member on Tuesday.

One problem is that there were hardly any new Fords out there! There was an EL XR8 (wasn't interested in joining), an EB Fairmont, AU XR Ute (should be joining on Tuesday), Simon and myself. I know of at least 6-7 LS1-powered Commodores that were there tonight. We (Ford fans) need to get out there more. Even if your car's not fast, it's still heaps of fun. Heck, my car runs 16 second quarters but it's still awesome fun! Not to forget that you're pretty much expected to do a burnout.

The next meet is on 21 August, but I'm not sure if I'll be there due to other commitments.
