Anyone here go to the Easternats at Sandown on the weekend? Kept an eye out for some of you guy's cars but didn't see any. Wasn't many EA's sadly...the carpark was full of bloody Commodores. I only got to see the burnout final by the time I got there and to my dissappointment the Twin Turbo 351 V8 XF Falcon that had rolled onto the burnout track couldn't spin the wheels for some reason. I think he had problems with his gearbox. This was one of the meanest sounding cars there and would have stuck it up all those Holden drivers. But there were still some cool burnouts neverless. The only thing I hate about going to shows like this is that when you get back into your own car you realise just how much money you have to spend to get your car to the standard of the ones on the track....damn my EA feels slow now.....
I wasn't there (not really my scene personally) but you guys might be interested in this picture that Sp33dy took. We don't know who owns the car though...

EASTERNATS... i went on both saturday and sunday.
Bloody excellent. Except no ea's and not enough
fords in general !
The 351 XF fairmont (the red one?) wasn't that quick in
the drags but i think it had a pretty average driver.
Had the best 2 days of my life there except way too many hotted up TORANA'S for my liking. And if i see another VK or VL interceptor piece of shit i am gonna be sick.
SOME AWESOME XY FALCONS !!!!! Oh yeah baby!
I plan to be there next year in the ea... even if i look like a dickhead it would be a rush to be able to open it up down the main straight or to enter the burnout comp!!!!
(i really need a supercharger... hmmm)
