Re: Next FF Heathcote Day

why do people promise to go and not bother to turn up?

Bloody great conditions, but I will leave the report to Russ and the crew

Just happy to have run a 12.85

Re: Next FF Heathcote Day

ok - great time had by all, it was dam cold!!! (down to 5.1 degrees at one stage) but again, Russ can leave the report.

The touareg ran a 17.8 which, for 2500kg 4x4 is not bad I'd say.

::::SPECIAL MENTION::::

" On behalf of all the crew at Heathcote Park Dragway, we would like to say how wonderful it was to have both the Fordforums and LS1 Crews here today.

Re: Next FF Heathcote Day

Yeah, would of been good if everyone had turned up.

Still a fair turnout and so congrats to everyone there.

BIG Congrats to Russ, etc for organising the event.

PB from here. TEPSI6 started out at 14.7 and ended up 13.52, so we'll the start the long trek home.

So............................Whens the next one???

Re: FF Heathcote Day - Results and comments

I had a GREAT time and set a new PB of 13.606@101.12 ... I ran 2 x 13.6s and 2x 13.7s and a couple that I wont bother posting.
Even though there were a large number of FFers with limp members that didn't front, the ones that did all looked like they had a great time. All the holden guys put on a great show ...
Unfortunately all my photos turned out blurry so if someone else has some .. please post them !
Mucho thanks to Russellw, Philbie, Smciner1, Laminge and Outback Ute who worked the timing post, especially Russ who kept the data up to date on the fly and only got 2 runs. Next time we will draft people to help out so people like Russ can get out a bit more.
A big well done to the Heathcote staff ( Russell and Co ) for a well prepped track and running the whole show without a hitch.
Bring on the pictures people !

Re: FF Heathcote Day - Results and comments

The F6/H6 combined class was another FordForum win with bmock taking the trophy.

There was also a Dark Side Trophy for the quickest early model 6 and this went to EF250kw with an excellent 14.943 (he needs to PM me so we can send it).

Finally (thanks to a kind donor) two special award were won by members of this category:

ARM79 was awarded one as the Most Consistent runner with a string of almost identical low 16 second times before capping the evening with a 15.933

Pearly was awarded the other as the PigDog Prize for running the slowest PB on the evening (the Touareg was disqualified by virtue of being a truck) with a time of 17.541
