Ford Forums Golf Day??

Hey folks,

just wondering if anyone would be interested in a golf day?

depending on numbers, i would envisage an 'ambrose' style competition, which would mean that it doesnt matter if youre crap or good, and still make it a very close competition and a stack of fun!

for those that arent familiar with the ambrose method: teams of say 3 or 4 members are formed. Each member of the team tees off, then the best shot is decided on. Then everyone plays their second shot from the selected best shot position. So on and so on until the ball is holed. Just means that if you fire a crap shot, hopefully not everyone in your group does so at the same time, and you will not be hitting off from the trees!

so there you go, it doesnt matter if youre good or errr not so good, come along and i promise you it will be a ripper of a day with a lot of laughs, and a lot of fun!

clubs can be hired for minimal cost if you dont have any, and once we have an indication of numbers, and which days suit everyone then ill set a date...

so who is up for it!

Yeah i could be up for it, but probably not till next year, too much happening at the moment, but once a date and course are set, I will see.
