The club will once again look at putting on a display at this event.
It is held at Sydney Showgrounds, Homebush Bay on August 21st and 22nd.
Last year the club had 8 cars entered and due to the HUGE trophy list 7 of the cars won trophies and the one that didnt only missed out because the owner didnt tick the "to be judged" box.
There is also a dyno competition that can be entered with or without putting your car in the show.
Setting up for the show is done on Friday August 20 and the cars must stay for the duration untill sunday (approx. 5pm).

Prices:
Show car entry:
$90 - includes judging, drivers pass, entrant pack & shirt and dyno comp.
$70 - includes judging, drivers pass, entrant pack & shirt.
$45 - includes judging, drivers pass, entrant pack
$40 - NON-judged just includes drivers pass

$30 - Dyno competition
$20 - For Buddy passes (access all weekend)

If you wish to enter and be included in the club display please contact me ASAP or see me at the next club meeting (13-07.04) and I can get an entry form to you.

The plan will be to all meet up on the friday night before it and set up the display.. More detaisl on that as it gets closer...

I would like to come up to this event, however being from Canberra where is the closest place to stay? Is it a walkable distance? is there any spots left?
If we are struggling for numbers i can bring both cars up, if the accomodation thing is worked out.
Any info would be appreciated.

I think the Novatel is fairly close. Its at homebush bay. But I think its fairly pricey. Checkout www.wotif.com for cheap last minute prices. I think they advertise on it

i aint a club member yet i need one more tickford enhancement to enter but i would love to put my na 6 in cause i hear that the last 2 years someone in a stock 6 is winning and he is the only entry into this cataorgy

No you do not need to be a club member for this show, and yes it is a realy good show. It would be good to out do the Holdens this year though......
