FPV Weekend - Feb 27 to March 3
THURSDAY
TEAM 1 - 9AM at Leo's (Casula) for the slow drive down
Approx 11:30 at the Ampol at Yass (to meet the canberrians)
Approx 2:30 at the Shell in Albury.
Easy night on the Thursday
FRIDAY
TEAM 2- 4.30am at leo's (Casula) for the mad rush down
Lunch at Herrod's 12noon for team 1.
All to assemble at Broadmeadows at 1.30pm for the factory.
the tour will go for about 1.5 hours.
You must wear long pants/ shirt and covered shoes.
There will also be NO cameras. No Children under 10.
A couple of quick photos in front of Ford and back to the Hotel. Into town (TRAM) for either the Motor Show (5-10pm, $15ea), Casino (24hr, $$$$$$$) or Melbourne itself.
SATURDAY
8.45 leave for Geelong. Be at the Discovery Centre for a tour. admission is $6 and 2 for 1. Down to Bells Beach for lunch and back to Queenstown (or what ever it is called) to get the ferry.
The ferry will take us fro the West side of the Bay to the East. The cost is $40 per car and $6 a head. its a 35minute trip a drive up the east coast to St Kilda we should be back to the Hotel at about 6ish to wash the car. a close pub will do for dinner a quiet drinks.
(some people are planning on going to the motorshow this night too)
SUNDAY
be at FPV at 8am. Set up the Club stuff and then our own cars. Their will be the usual GT's, Race teams, FPV clubs, modified Fords, race drivers, V8 assembly line tours etc
pack up about 4ish and put the cars back at the Hotel.
Join the other clubs for dinner and drinks.
MONDAY
Jim Mock has given us an invitation to visit his workshop so if we are well we will do so about 10.30ish.
Maybe a photo infront of FPV and the Mad trip home should begin about 1pm.
