Interest in a melbourne cruise....

Well before the ff merger a few of the guys wanted to organise a cruise, now that everything has settled down we can try this again. The meets are good but u dont get to drive around for a bit of a larf, now anyone interested post your reply here if there is enuff well we can annoy acid to organise one or we can just put one 2geather ourselves. This will most probably be a night cruise nothing offical and most probably nothing too big. So ideas or any suggestions fire away....

my two ideas are:

- night cruise through the city - chapel? or something similar
- day cruise down the coast - great ocean road way?

I'm in, but I don't really know the city that well to make suggestions on cruise routes. A night cruise near the city would be easy, but a cruise down the coast would be quite good. I'm easy.

A night cruise in the city would be hell, have you ever been there on a weekend night? Cars everywhere, too many traffic lights so everybody would probably be split up, not to mention all the cops! Beach road is cool at night, slow way to cruise around the bay? But something during the day would be good too, something longer, past Melbourne?

What you said about somewhere down great ocean road way sounds cool then, but would many people wanna go that far? I'd like to take my car for a decent run, still haven't :(

Hey guys, I just thought I'd add that I am interested in having this go ahead in a month to a month and a half as a stop gap between Sunday's meet and the upcoming Commodore/Falcon one. If it's an ultra-long cruise and I haven't got anyone to go with, though, I might 'car pool' with someone...

Yep torquay or arthurs seat sound sweet. But make it when it is less WET!. No use in sliding everywhere. The only prob with torquay though is the geelong road. Im sure there are other ways which are less, how shall i say COP! infested. There are lots of places in torquay were we could meet. If you want acid i can give you a hand with organising it.

dude, cruise means taking it easy around the roads. as long as we end up somewhere under cover, preferably warm, we'll be sweet. have some food and a chat then keep on moving.
