Joint Cruise with HSV Club - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

Hi all,
We have been contcted by Andrew Guesdon the president of the HSV club and invited to their first cruise day for 2005.

We are hopeing to get at least a few cars from the club along as it will be a good chance to get to know a few of the members of their club and we can look at doing a few "joint" events with them in the future... they participate in skid pan days and track days at venues such as eastern creek and to help with costs it would be great to share a day like that with them.

Anyway, this weekends cruise would be a good start in kicking things off with them.

Its not an "US" vs "them" thing.. Its just a Big group of car enthusiasts getting together regardless of the make...

An idea of people interested in coming would be great, that way I can pass on approx. numbers to him...

The first Sunday drive for 2005 will be January on Sunday 30th and is a mystery cruise, this means we set off for a destination only known to the leader.

Last year we went south to Berry via some obscure but entertaining roads where we had over 25 cars in convoy, stopping for views, food, drink and the occasional toilet break.

This year I have something more fun in mind so I look forward to seeing you at the rally point being the car park adjacent to the Parramatta Leagues Club on Sunday 30th January at 9:30 am for what will be a three hour journey.

It is the intention of this run to have some fun and see some of our tourist attractions so there will be stopping along the way, so be prepared to stop!

It might be a good idea if we meet somewhere esle before we go to Parramatta we were talking about wentworthville macer's but up to everybody else.

Well I have got to say that it was a excellent day, it was a good change to have some of the other cars there and cruise with them, I had a great day up untill the boys in BLUE decided to change that for me and whack a yellow sticker on the windscreen and tell me the car is now defected. But anyway I am looking forward to the next combined cruise with the HSV car club..

why does everyone seem to think it was the exhaust? it was only for the 2 back tyres they reckon they were a bit low on tread, I said there was heaps!!! ( well there was no wire hanging out)

oh thats not good i would've been the same if the car was ok to go. Thank god for the master cylinder........
