Newcastle sub-branch meeting - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

As you are probably aware by now, a Newcastle sub-branch of the FPV-Tickford Club of NSW has been formed. Essentially, we will be catering to performance Ford owners in Newcastle, the Hunter Valley, the Central Coast and North Coast (plus anyone else who wants to come along!). We will be holding our own monthly meetings, as well as organising a calendar of events. At times, we will join in events with the Sydney and Canberra clubs.

This is to notify you all of our inaugural monthly meeting. This will be held next Wednesday evening, June 4th, at the West Wallsend Workers Club, Carrington Street, West Wallsend. West Wallsend is reasonably central to most of us, and is easily accessible right off the F3. For information about the club (including a map), visit their website: http://www.wwwc.com.au. The meeting will start at 7.30pm and should be finished by 9.30pm. Please note that our monthly meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of each month.
We are currently in negotiations with Kloster Ford in Newcastle to see if we can possibly hold our meetings there. These discussions are taking some time, so if and when something happens, we will let you know straight away.

In the meantime, we look forward to seeing you next Wednesday evening. As this is your club, we would love to catch up with you all and hear any thoughts and comments you may have, to make the club as enjoyable and rewarding as possible. One of the things to be discussed tomorrow night is members' events, so please come along with a few thoughts on the kind of things you'd like us to be planning/organising. We will also be conducting a vote on a proposed new club logo. Hope to see you all tomorrow night at 7.30.

Well the first meeting went off without any hiccups! It was great to see some non-member visitors showing up, and all in all, it was a promising start.

Top marks to the committee up here, they have jumped in at the deep end, but they are very determined to get things done!

Great work gents, the wheel is starting to turn!

Thanks for that, Mr Sparkle. Yep, there's lots of hard work to be done, but I'm sure that we can all work together to make ours a really successful and fun club. Was great to chat to a whole number of people afterwards, and get some really valuable feedback. Keep the thoughts/suggestions/comments coming everyone!

We had 22 people attend the meeting including the committee.
12 members & 10 visitors.
Very interesting meeting with a lot of constructive input from all those that attended.
The next meeting will be held on the 2nd July.
