Lets make this the best new year yet cruise
Hey guys,
As promised, now its the New Year, I want to start organising a few cruises.
As we have had a few things organised that, lets say.... 'were not as succeful as we would have liked', we make a fresh start & try to get a few gatherings under our belts so we can get out there and show our cars off.
I will list a couple of ideas that I have come up with and think if we do what the majority want it might make it easier to get as many cars as possible.
Choice 1:
Galston Gorge / Bobbin Head run.
Long, tight, twisting, this ones starts out near Dural the North West of Sydney and basicallt goes EAST. Is actually 2 different runs combined. Galston Gorge comes out at the Pacific Hwy just south of Berowra and then you cut across the freeway into the Kuringai-Chase NP and to Bobbin Head. Ends in the North East, and there is the possibility to drive on to Palm Beach if we're in the mood to make a long night of it.
Choice 2:
Run to Palm Beach.
Likely to be crowded in the summer months. Palm Beach is as far north as you can go without actuallt being on the Central Coast (which is just across the bay actually). Start somewhere central like Homebush and then you have 3 or 4 different routes (via Pennant Hills or Victoria Rd or over the Harbour Bridge) you can take untill you get closer where we all meet as one to travel the last bit of the trip.
Choice 3:
the National Park run to Wollongong.
Although very popular with the cops. Starts at Loftus near Sutherland and ends at Stanwell Tops. I repeat this is also VERY popular with the cops, who can set up speed traps or just get you coming the other way over the top of the national park.
So the question is guys ...............
Where do we want to cruise to and what dates would be suitable for everyone.
Or the option is there to have these as our 3 major cruises with other mini cruises in between and therefore we only have to select where we go first ......
