Well, seeing as no other Kiwis have put up information, I thought I might aswell :s6:

There were 21 cars involved, 19 XR Falcons from ED through to AU III (lots of those), a T3 TS50 and an AU Fairmont Ghia. For those who have an atlas handy, we went from Wellington to Palmerston North in convoy, where we wandered around finding a place to eat... 21 hot Falcons doing a U turn in a busy street in the middle of town proved interesting!

Couple of fun points (there were a lot!)

- Guy in a Mazda 323 shouting out "Fords Suck!" as he drove past (duh)
- Finding a nice place to eat
- FF's family getting pulled over by a cop (long story cut very short) after the car he saw speeding (Commodore done up as a Walkinshaw funnily enough) pulled off the road and hid. The cop continued onto the next "dark car" (us) and pulled it over.
- Meeting up with AU II XR8 and bdsxr6! [Edit] And XR8 Couple and Babs!

Couple of pictures, the clubs website www.tickfordclub.org.nz should have the "Official" photos up by the end of the week. In the meantime you can put up with mine!

Those magnificent men and their flying machines! That's the FFMobile(tm) at the front right.

And that's only the rear half of the group!

Well done to the NZ guys.
Its always pleaseing to see a good roll up when somone has put the effort into planning an event.
Some nice looking machines as well.

That brings a tear to my eye. Great effort for a first up to have that many cars turn out. Now be truthful, how long did it take to organise the group photo. The answer will determine if your club is worthy of true Tickford status

Hmmm... not sure what the correct answer is so I'll be truthful here...

The cars were going to be arranged in a semicircle, but there was found to be not enough room after the first 10 or so cars. Remedy - start again. So all up it probably took (I think) around about 10mins. But I've got a bad memory, you should probably ask someone else.

BTW, there are 2 cars missing - one XR8 that had to return to Wellington early so a guy could catch a flight, and a Ute behind me that the "Official" photos were taken from on top of.

HSE probably asked because it always takes forever to get cars in order for a club photo shoot, we have experienced this many a time, you get the cars halfway to being arranged and then you realise it isn't going to work so you start all over again.
