well went a long to the Melville FTE show, and well i wasnt all that impressed really, some nice cars, but nothing stood out much, there was a shit hot XB GT, and a GT40, and nice old school cars, but i could drive 5mins down the road on a sunday and see all these cars, actually driving which is much better, the rumble of a 351 cruising about in the sun.

was an overcast day, all the cars were clean, but none were show cars, they all seemed very stock. one had a stereo with all its trophies, but the build of the stereo was shocking!! wires hanging out everywhere, $$$ on products, savings on install

not to be sour to the owners, but i thought it could have been much better, very confined, all seemed factory, bought n displayed

perth needs to lift its game in the car shows, all the ones i been to of late have left me wondering why bother

Well Im glad I didn't miss out on too much in the end then, I remembered about the show about 4 in the afternoon and was very pissed off that I forgot about it.

What a day!!!!
Got to look at and sit in 1 of 5 T3 TS50's, climb all over an EL GT, talk to owners of 3 concourse GT Falcons and generally look around at Fords from the odd early mk1 Escort to Mustangs and all the way to Tickfords finest. It was good to see people bring along their cars to support the new FTE series of cars. Whether people had mint or average cars it was great just having a yack to them all. So if people are going to rip into a "show'n'shine" for not being a perfect car show then I feel sorry for them as it was a really great day to meet other Ford owners.
Which is something that doesn't happen to often especially here in Perth. I love my not so perfect EL2 XR8 and I would of loved to of had it there, but the wife was busy on Friday afternoon introducing it to the cops after trying to break the land speed record down Kwinana freeway. So i'll try again next year. Hope to see some of you there...

No she was a bit flustered and hense gave the cop a bit of lip. So he then looked over the car, found a small chip in the windshield and defected her on the spot.

talk to the owners, the owners were talking amongst themselves, or sitting elsewhere dazing into space, look at someones car and no one would tell you about it, pay attention to it, look inside n out wanting to know about it, nothing no response.

3 or 4 cars had a board about there car that was all

anyhow, such is life, if people are too shy about there cars to talk, then so be it
