Sunday August 10.
I would like to organise a cruise to the Central Coast for a bbq/picnic lunch.
If there is any members up there that can recommend a nice spot to get together. Maybe even up as far as Lake Macquarie.
Also, would the Newcastle guys be interested in making it a combined lunch?
I would like to start the Sydney guys from Power Ford at Castle Hill and head thru Wisemans Ferry and along the Hawkesbury.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

You Canberra guys are more than welcome, most definitely.
Mate if you wanna make the trek up, it would be great to see.
We haven't been up to the Central Coast area as a club for quite a while now, and we have quite a few members from around that area.
Also, I want to try to organise an over nighter out to Orange soon too, to touch base with the members out there because I know we have quite a few there.

"The Skillion" at Terrigal is a good spot with a reasonable amount of parking, we've used it a few times in the past for club runs. Also a bit further up, Norah Head has a nice park with not-too-bad parking either.
I guess it will depend on the projected turnout - if it's gonna be a biggie, like 40+ cars, then I'd lean towards Terrigal. There are a number of small parks and the like around Lake Macquarie as well, but I'm not sure they'd have the capacity for parking.

Clicky clicky here for previous ride! I still miss her!
Well, we will be going to The Skillion at Terrigal, with a byo format for lunch. A bbq will be provided on the day if you wish to bring your own meat and stuff. Alternatively, there is quite a good little kiosk on site that serves up nice fish and chips.
As far as details go, event sheet will be handed out at the July club meeting.
A quick run down however:
Meet at Power Ford Castle Hill at 8:30, departing at 9:30
Head off to Wisemans Ferry and hopefully we all will be able to get on the ferry in one go for the river crossing.
Nice easy drive along the side of the river.
Meet with the Central Coast/Newy guys at a location TBA
