Hey everyone,

Well its that topic again the camp.Mark 2.

Place of camp is Sommerset Dam at Kirklee park about 1hour to 1 hour and half depending where you live from Brisbane.Camp site per person is $7 as of 1/10/04 flushing dunnies and showers (very clean) available,no power though(real camping) fires allowed only in drums and there is a really good view of lots of water.You can camp where you like and theres heaps of room so we can make a bit of noise till about 10:30 alot more then our last camp.

30th October 2004

20th November 2004 (start of schoolies)

27th November 2004

4th December 2004

What do you think?

it works and you have my vote already the more notice the better i reckon,that way ppl cant make too many excuses this time round..

Hey fella's got my license back last week, its all good. Got my car back last week aswell after 3 months of modifications, looks awsome, so many heads turn, so many people comment to me, its almost ridiculous, but i'm loving the attention.

Lukey, i'm working fulltime 60hrs a week, so i'l try my best to at least make an apperance for sure

Somerset dam is a great place, I have been there several times. It is usually pretty quiet camping wise around late November early December (on the spillway side of the dam anyway), so the 27th or the 4th would be a good time I think.

Can anyone bring a high speed/horsepower water toy?

Thanks for doing this Lukey, it’s great to see a move in the right direction. I think the beginning of schoolies may be fun too. Also I tend to think that it would be wise to separate the camp from Christmas / New Year somewhat.

Please tell me someone has a powered watercraft that they can bring!
