I'll be there and i'm still trying to con Brett into taking his for a rare 6 sec pass, it ran 7.18 last time and now it has 50rwkw more power.
I hear Wardy's sorted out his gearbox now so that will be running some low 7's if not a high 6.
Should be good.
Brett will come won't he? the VL should be well and truly into the 6's. He was close last meet. Good Luck to him!
Wardy will be there with bells on, as not only has he sorted some g'box problems, he has found more power too by changing the comp wheel of the turbo some, and rebalancing again, and re-tuning. So he will surely be into the 6's as he ran a 7.08 last meet.
Dunno yet but Shaun might be there in his Torana, he ran a 8.5 1/4 mile at Heathcote last month, as well as just made over 830HP on the engine dyno, so his usually high 5 second passes should tumble!
There is also a few rails coming down from NSW and also Weribee so should be a really good day!

Can you confirm if there will be some Top Fuellers attending the meet?
Can you confirm if there will be some Top Fuellers attending the meet?
As yet, no I cannot.
One of our event sponsors is Fuchs, which are a couple of cars major sponsors. One of which is a Victorian based Top Fueller. If they are not running at the Winternationals (same weekend), they will most likely be doing a few runs to scare the shitta out of everyone at Bairnsdale!
Also not a definate, but some blown big blocks may be also making their way down here. Again a confirmation has to be made.
Where are you based mondie?

Date is getting closer, and planning has stepped up a cog!
Have pestered the Fuchs team for a definate answer, and no the top fuellers will not be, BUT, there will be at least 3 blown cars running in the low 5's.
The rails are still coming, which should be 6's high 5's, and as well as some bikes running good times.
Hopefully the weather is OK so we have a real good meet.
