With the singular lack of interest we have decided to make some more changes to the Raid.
Friday , Heathcote. Will be an open event to all that apply $50 assuming 32 people. The amount will be adjusted either way.
We MUST have confirmed numbers of 30 as soon possible. Should we not get the required numbers, this event will be cancelled. Spread the word and get anyone that's interested to contact me ASAP.
Saturday Show and Shine in Burwood. Again, an open event. We must have reasonable numbers to make this worthwhile. Fords are preferred ( of course !! ) but this is open to any make.
Sunday General Admission to Sandown 500. I would like to see at least 20 people wanting to go so we can arrange group entry with our cars, the driver getting in for free. Again, should we not get the numbers, it's general admission.
Should we not get enough interest in these events, the raid will be cancelled and refunds made. This is not what I want. Raid II was fantastic and I do not want this to fizzle any more than it has.
Please get the word around, at the drags sheer speed is not the aim, having fun is. If you think your car is too slow, just come and run for the benefit of speeding legally !
Come on lads (and laddies) make the effort. I'm coming from Brisbane so that should give you an indication on how fun the Raid is. Or perhaps I'm just insane. Either way join the fun. :s6:

I will try and drum up some numbers from the GT boys. Is this ok? Are they welcome to Sandown?
Cheers

We will be doing the same, this will hopefully fill out the required numbers.

anyone and everyone is welcome. The only requirement for the drags is for people to want to have fun, speed safely and commit to attending. With sandown the more the merrier is the order of the day.
Do we need to supply our own helmets for the drags ??????
I would assume so.
