Hmm, second thread in a night......

I have been talking to Chris, and we come up with the idea of having a cruise that starts in the mid afternoon, heading up to the hills for a bit, then have an opputunity to stop somewhere at sunset for some photo's, then back into town or the bay or somewhere.

A date hasn't been finalised, but I reckon either the 4th, 11th or 18th of September would be ideal. If most people can't make it for say, a 4.00 meet for a 4.30 departure, we can always move it to a 7.00 meet, like most times, which seems to suit most people.

Mate i'm in for it - i'd probably gun for the 18th so can hopefully get the beast run in and up to BDT for a tune. But yeah - an arvo cruise would be cool.

I grew up in the hills so sing out if you need some suggestions for routes up there....

I reckon you guys should have a cruise from Marion to Victor harbor! That would be damn sweet, nice driving and victor's a pretty nice place if youv'e eva been there. Heaps of places to take really nice pics, and even watch the sunset if that be your fancy.

Ne way just a suggestion.

We did organise a Victor Harbour cruise before, but only 3 cars turned up, and the cruise ended with roughly $20,000 damage, and a written off car.

Having said that, I would be up for another Victor cruise, I'm sure one won't be too far off with the great weather we have been getting lately.

The route we have 1/2 made up so far heads up North East Rd, through Chain of Ponds, to Kersbrook, then up to Gawler along some awesome roads.
