Arrow September Dyno Comp

Location: Hallam Performance Centre
Where: 8 David Lee Rd, Hallam.
How much: $50

It has bee booked for the 18th (but can be 19th if numbers are high)

I am going to run 3 class's.
*6 cylinder
* V 8
* forced induction

Trophies for winner of each class, if the numbers are high then there will be 2nd and 3rd.

BBQ will be on (competitors get can of coke also).

Each competitor will get a colour printout of their best pass. There are two pass's per car. With time for a small mod (if required). The vehicle will not be untied, but timing, air filter, etc. can be changed.

For those who pre-enter before the 13th will be entered into a draw to win a bottle of premium octane boost.

Re: September Dyno Comp

This is my only problem... if my diff blows on the dyno, I won't be able to make it home. Has anyone got any ideas for me? LOL

Re: September Dyno Comp

I dont think a dyno would put much stress on a diff.

Re: September Dyno Comp

Ned - it depends on the condition of the gears of the diff. It will not distroy barings or LSD. As a precausion, replace the oil.

Re: September Dyno Comp

as the dyno puts a progressive load on the car the diff will be fine
some of the top 1000+ hp dyno cars still run a borg warner diff.
what will kill the diff is sudden load eg burnout.
