Hey all, sorry i missed the Sydney cruise, just to far to travel in not enough time, Can we get a bit more warning about the next one?? How was it though?? Did anyone rock up with a camera because i really want to see the pictures and the new members, Lets just hope it was a bigger turnout than the last meet :)

Well, my girlfriend and I turned up... we got a little worried at first because most of the car park at the Maccas was closed down and was being redeveloped, so parking was really sparse.

We ended up waiting close to two hours (she actually left after an hour to go to work), occasionally doing a round of the carpark to look for other EAs. In the end we were the only ones that turned up. I did take the opportunity though to snap a few shots of us and our cars.

It was to be expected though given the relatively small size of the NSW membership and the extreme lack of notice.

So let's try this again... anyone want to suggest a date for a Sydney Cruise that's a little further down the track? After this next weekend, I'm not available for another three weeks, but obviously that doens't proclude a cruise :)

Any suggestions?

Yeah, sorry I couldnt make it either fellas. But i'm sure if we can all decide on a date a few weeks in advance there should be no reason for anybody to pull out. I'm definitely still up for a cruise. Howabout everybody lets us know what dates and times they CAN'T make it?

Actually for what it's worth, I can beat that record.

Back in 2000 there was supposed to be an ILS Automotive cruise for regulars from that board. Of the many cars originally supposed to attend, everyone ended up being unable to make it - and even I couldn't show up in the end (I didn't have a car at the time and was relying on a lift) so NOBODY showed up. hehe

Just for the record... we actually had two cars there... my girlfriend has an EA too :)

Let's look at some dates then... after this next weekend, the next time I can make one (on a weekend anyway) would be Saturday, May 11th. How does that sound to people? Any other date suggestions?

What time do people think is usually better. I believe someone suggested earlier, so that long distance travellers can get there and back during the day.

Any thoughts?
