Ok since the Raid is drawing nearer, i'd like to do one of my infamous "Head Counts" of who's going on the convoy trip to Melbourne.
I thought i'd use last years trip plan and ETA's for starters. Basically we'll be about 10 hours on the road which includes stops for reviving and filling up our machines.
For the Sydney and Newcastle people i would suggest to meet some where on the Cumberland Hwy near liverpool, theres a Maccas and a fuel station just before Liverpool.
For the westies like me i'll be meeting you guys at Pheasents Nest Mobil near Picton on the hume as i will be going through the Northern Road passing Camden.
We'll then meet at Yass for the Canberrain people.
Then when we arrive in Melbourne we'll stop at Cambellfield Ford Mecca to meet with the fellow melbournians. Then all head in a massive group to Geelong.
Heres the Plan:
6:00am Sydney/Northern Sydney people meet at Maccas on Cumberland Hwy near Liverpool.
6:30am depart Liverpool
7:00-15 arrive at Pheasants Nest Mobil (I'll be meeting crew there)
7:45 depart Pheasents Nest Mobil
9:45-10:00am arrive Ampol Service Centre Yass (on far end of Yass bypass)
10:15-30 Depart for the long haul to Melbourne then Geelong
12:45-1:00pm Stop of a bit to eat at Holebrook (Awesome Pie shop there)
17:00-18:00 Meet at Ford Mecca
18:00-19:00 Arrive at Sheraton Hotel Geelong
19:30 Meet at Booked Restaurant for the gathering of raid:s5 :s5 :s5
Oh yeah during the trip my car will be CB equiped too.
So Who's in and where are they planning to meetup along the way.

03:30 - Random Room calls asking if you'd like a little "something extra"
I should be able to meet you guys at HQ, if not I'll meet ya's in Geelong.
After last year and certain people doing 105 in the 110 zones, stopping at every second town, etc.. AP will probably drive by himself.......
