SA Tickford

It's that time of year again when we figure out who is going to look after the Tickford Car Club - SA for the next 12 - 24 months. Nominations have already closed but to be able to vote at this meeting for who you want to run the club you need to be a financial member before 7:30 pm on the night of the AGM that is Tuesday the 6th of November. AGM will be held at the Hackney Hotel, Hackney.

As we all know AGM's can be a little boring so we have come up with two ways to make it a bit better. Firstly there will be a raffle held on that night and that night only. The first prize is a Dunlop Motorsport Jacket valued at about $200 and the seconf prize is a Dunlop Motorsport Flag. Tickets are $2 each and will only be sold on the night with the draw being at the end of the meeting.

Secondly we are having a guest speaker from one of our major sponsors Shell come along and talk to us about their products and other stuff.

How many members do you have?

We currently have 50 cars in the club, let me explain it though. We don't accept associate memebrs so they are all Tickford vehciles. When someone joins the club it is actually their car that joins, hence why i said cars, with each car the primary driver and their partner have full voting rights and are allowed to stand for committee. we do it this way because we promote it as a family club and almost all of the partners get involved and so do the kids. It costs $25 per car.
