Well, I know many Sydney people are going down for the big weekend (me included). Just thought I'd see what people are doing.

I'll be driving down from Sydney on Thursday night, leaving around 10pm so I get there between 7 and 8 in the morning. That leaves Friday to shop and play at Herrods (ssshhhhhh!!!!!)

On the return leg I intend leaving the Tickford day pronto after events finish and driving back overnight to get at work the next day. All going well, should be back in Sydney by 3am for a coupla hours sleep! This is a good drive on Sunday night and is easily achieved with a food stop at ALbury before going right through.

Anyone tagging along?

I'll be leaving straight after the show as well Pete and heading up the highway, turning off at the Shepparton turnoff.

I'll be Ansetting in Sat morning early (around 8am), and leaving in the same manner Sunday evening about 6 or 7pm. Damn work and their stringent leave policies! :dead:

Me, me Nan and Nipper arrive 7am Friday and leave sometime Monday morning.......so we can play all weekend WOOHOO!!

Have fun for the long drive Aussie Pete.
I drove the G.T. up to Sydney for the NSW all Ford Day at Peter Warren Ford last year. Left work at 4:00 pm Friday, arrived at Sydney at 2:00 am, got up at 6:00 am for the Swap Meet.
The trek back home was much the same. After leaving Peter Warren Ford, I arrived home at 2:00 am to start work at 7:00 am. A very tyring weekend.
I am still trying to work out how Mildura was further away from Sydney than Geelong to miss out on the Long Distance Award.....

I'm driving down Thursday morning, spending Thursday evening with my cousin (not far from Ford/Tickford) then heading to the motel and wherever The Don decides is good for my first well deserved brew! Friday is 'spend more money on car' day, weekend is free. I've got Mon/Tue off as well (no such leave policies at my work sparkles, i want, i get!) so drive home is undecided.

I will be cruising down on Thursday evening with the club.

Friday is tour day !! (woohoo)

Leaving on Sunday just after the show. Should get home around 1am (like last time) and that included 3 stops.

The SA people are leaving in three lots, some are leaving Thursday morning and staying in Horsham on Thursday night. Some are leaving Thursday night and staying at Nhill on Thursday night. The rest are leaving early Friday morning. The entire club (about 60 people) is meeting at Horsham Maccas at 7am and leaving at 8am for a combined cruise to Geelong for the two tours. Then into Melbourne to our hotel for a night of pizza, drinks and talking. Everyone is leaving Meblourne sometime Monday morning.
