My apologies to all NSW members for the lack of meets there in recent times. The NSW/ACT Rep situation remains a mess.

If you guys wish to tee something up, I'll e-mail all members in the area to ensure a good turnout.

What about a halfway run to Berrima to make it easy for Canberra guys to meet up with you. Just a thought.

We used to have a NSW/ACT Rep, but after a while he was rarely coming online, let alone arranging events. I got his permission to arrange a vote for a new Rep, but he came online again at that point, and I got the impression he was back in business. But now he hasn't been seen in a while, so it looks like a proper vote will finally need to take place for his replacement.

Meets are the best things to attend, I've gone to quite a few in NSW, ACT, and Vic, and they are awesome. You meet the best people, take the cars out for a stretch on the highway, enjoy a great day out!

A cruise to Berrima sounds like a good plan, if you can find out something we can do, or a good place to cruise to around Berrima - anything historical for some good photos or a winding road up a mountain or something, that'd be sweet. Berrima is pretty far north for the Canberra guys though, if there are any places of interest a touch more south to be fair on the ACT guys too, I'd be interested in looking at those also.

I am sure we can organise some cars to meet in Canberra and cruise up, and cars in Sydney to meet up and cruise down, for a day cruise.

Anyone interested or know of a good scenic or interesting place to visit, post them here and we'll get a cruise organised!

Just a sub note to my previous post, I've been told that Bundanoon is a very scenic place, just off the Hume Highway, over looks the big valleys around the area, around Morton National Park. It is closer to Sydney than ACT, but apparently is a very popular tourist place.

We can all meet up at the Marulan, at the MacDonalds on the Hume Highway, then head east off the Highway into Bundanoon as a collected group. There are a few bushwalking paths to some lookouts and things, so I think it'd be a cool place to go.

Goulburn is half way to Canberra from Berrima. Its about one hour past Berrima. As for nice places to go for drives, there are all the old roads which go through all the country towns, that kind of thing.

As for good driving, Kangaroo Valley is pretty nice, if you go through to Nowra there is 2 mountain passes :o) Or there is always Jambaroo/Wollongong.

Bundanoon is pretty nice (Suicide capitol of Australia) and very scenic, Fitzroy Falls is also good.

I guess there is heaps of places to go driving around here, but I guess it comes down too how much driving eveyrone wants to do, personally I would drive to Wagga for a fun day.
