Well people Summers almost upon us and It will be a good time to do a day cruise down the Great Ocean Road again.

For those who don't already know a very succesful cruse was held last year on August 11 with an excelent turnout of E-Series and FF members despite lees than desiarable weather conditions. For details of the last cruise look here : http://fordforums.com/showthread.php...eat+Ocean+Road

To give a good amount of time for people to get a day off if need be or to just put some cash aside etc I propose the Cruise happen late November or early December. It would probably be the only time that would suit most people with school/uni being finished and just before the silly season starts This would most likely wind up the events for the year.

Feel free to post your ideal times here so we can organise a date that suits most people sooner rather than later.

So lets do it all again and make it a fantastic day doing what we do best!

yeah this sounds good. i wanted to organise one in feb as a weekend cruise, to co-incide with the all ford day, but as has been pointed out not as many would be up for it due to accomidation costs etc.

so yeah, we'll do this, and then all ford day as a seperate thing.

as for a date, i reckon the first weekend in december, the 6th/7th weekend either day im not fussed.

or the 13th/14th is good (mebirthday on teh 14th)

anything after that is really gettin too close to xmas

i was in last time, and even though it got a bit wet, it was a great cruise.

perhaps we should aim for lunch in lorne, but try and organise the food this time - book a hotel or pub there once we get approximate numbers?

at any rate, should be good.

Yeah I was thinking of leaving say 9:30 - 10am from melb with the aim to get to Lorne by 1pm for lunch.
