Hi all!

Can you guys and gals let me know what kind of accomodation would you be after. There's quite a few hotels/motels in the Goulburn area, ranging from backpacker accomodation to 4 1/2 star hotels.

Old pubs seem to have a lot more atmosphere than newer hotel/motels. They are also generally a lot more tolerant of petrol heads who want to have a good time. If you get on the right side of the publican, he will often keep the bar open for longer than normal to keep his patrons happy. If you can find a hotel that has a large enough lounge, complete with TV and Video, (so we can play the video footage of the days events), to accomodate all the tickford owners who may be staying over, I reckon that would be the go. The only other requirement as far as I'm concerned is a good counter tea menu.

If you like, I'll volunteer my services to go down there one weekend and sus out the right place.

That's my 2 bobs worth........howabout some feedback from other mebers?

Looks like you're on your own with this one Jim. I think most people will decide what they want to do on the day - stay or leave.

Considering there's been no feedback, I'll be leaving this one up to you guys. Everyone can make their own arrangements.

there is also rooms on site i found out today
there are 75 rooms plenty of room
