To make sure you get your spot, I'd like to start taking down some names and deposits (or full payments) for the track day. The date (15th June) is approaching very fast. There's less than 3 months to go and I'm giving you a heads up since I'll start harrassing people at the next meeting (9th April). A $20-30 deposit will be all you need to make sure you get in.
Nick

Have any plans or enquiries been made for gaining hotel accomodation for the Saturday night after our Wakefield day.
Having been involved in this type of day with other clubs, I have seen how much fun it can be for everyone to get together at a venue close to the track, to re-live their experiences on the track after a couple of glasses of good cheer. (it's amazing how a quick break in traction turns into a 400 metre power slide after a couple of drinks). It can also be a great forum for club members to get to know each other better, in a friendly social environment.
nick there is a hotmel/motel just up the road from wakefield maybe a 1km away its pretty close.Maybe you can try there i just don't know the name sorry.

The place about 1km up the road from Wakefield Park is call the Pelican Sheep Station. The have a couple of different styles of accomodation ranging from dormatory type to cabin.
I have stayed in the dormatory accomodation before. There is also a licenced resturant. They do some deal where you get a 3 course meal and you can drink if you wish.
Sorry I have no idea how much the accomodation is as I have never had to pay for it.
I will be there at the track in the mighty 1.6L 5 speed 60.6kW (that 0.6 is apparently very important) Nissan Pulsar. I am going to punish it for not being an XR.
If I can ask a favour, all I ask is that you guys don't lap me too many times....... :-)

Hi,
I will definately be there and I'll pay up at the May Club Meeting.
Due to kids and work I will drive down and back on the Saturday.
Looking foreward to putting faces to all the names off the Forum.:s2:
can you give me an idea of how many solid numbers you have for the wakefield day. I have talked to a couple of places in Goulburn about accomodation, but......naturally they need numbers.
For anyone else reading this, (who intends to go to Goulburn), if you haven't already made a commitment to Nick, please do so by the end of this week.
Also, anyone who would like to stay on Saturday night in Goulburn, please let Nick know by the end of the week.
I am getting minimal feedback from the club which I can't say is commendable. At the moment, I only have 13 names/deposits.
I would like to urge everyone to get off their bums and take action because we need 40 participants to break even. If the numbers are not met by the end of the May meeting, we will be forced to send invitations to other clubs. If this happens, I CANNOT guarantee you a spot if you turn up on the date.
