a ford broke down didnt it(mine), bout half way to 1st stop, smoke coming from front right of engine bay (airboix side)

convoy of cars waiting all do a u turn to come back and its abit hard to see what happened with mobile phone torches. mr bozza17 was the backlight driving face forward and it was one of the heater hoses...BASTARD... it split. now was to short to rejoin, so shoved it in (with the split) and re clamped it, held up for the remainder of the night and i didnt over heat

Neb has some photos of us all lined up at various breakdown spots

but also down willy and altona. (started raining some misty shit)

all in all was an orite night, quite a few commies drive passed telling us to go home? 7fords, 1commie hehe

I had the same thing happen to me in Geelong, 120 kays away from home, and no one in geelong that i knew (Except Wayne, and he was working!). It serves me right, I dragged a bloke in an EFXR6 and when I hit second, she blew, the heater hose.

Car was parked in a 1 hour zone for about 2 hours with a big green moisture trail going back about 500 metres and the gutter full off green coolant! Finally i plucked the courage after it had cooled to drive about a kilometre up the road to the nearest Ultra Tune where they fixed me up and sent me packing.

I would have come on the cruise but had to work!

my pictures aren't very good.. they all came up fairly dark. plus i gotta reduce the size of them cos they are close to 1mb each straight from the camera. might upload them soon, but all the pics at night on the side of the road and stuff all came out pretty shit.
