DO any of the queenslanders enter the street meets held at Willowbank on a Saturday night? I went last weekend and it looks like pretty good value. It cost $30 and you seemed to get lots of runs, some guys were even racing against there mates or same models. Only one EF there (i think it was running low 14's) but a whole heap of standard crap boxes were racing (well into the 20's) It might be a good event for those who want to give their cars a test. It would be cool to see a whole heap of falcons there as well (there was way too many holdens).

Its best to go on a saturday test and tune. www.willowbank-raceway.com.au is the web site and has an event callendar on it. I'll be in if theres a few falcons going.

you reckon sat is best? i have always gone on wed nite, hoping people would be working late or whatever...

you can get a helmet from cash converters for like $50...

last time i went it had been raining the day before but not that day, so the track was sticky as hell and there was nobody there!!! i got 10 runs in an hour!!!!! the poor car didnt even have time to take a breath before i threw it down the quarter again!

only got an hour there before it started to piss down but :(

i think we should organise a nite well into the future to give us plenty of time to get ready and all go and have some fun :) dont worry if your car is slow cause nobody even notices, they are all too concerned with making their car go faster....
