You Know You've Had A Great Raid Experience When...

...you've seen things no other ordinary Ford fan has seen yet.

...you've car comes home with more Herrod gear in it.

...you look at your bank balance on Monday and cry.

...you've done more k's in your car in a week than you did the last 3 months.

...you don't remember a lot from the various evenings events, but you can't wipe the grin from your face.

...you've met Geoff, David, Flick and the many others who contribute to FF from the Ford/FPV family.

...bus rides will never be the same again.

and finally

...you're already planning to come down again next year.

Others who went to the first raid should add to this, and then we can add more in October after this year's raid.

You kick yourself so hard for going home one day to early last year.

You sat and watched FF for the last year waiting for Felicity or Fordcomms confirm this years raid.

You stop paying bills for 2 months to have enough money to go.

........when your gokart gets slammed full speed at a corner by a person which will remain nameless and still comeout laughing about it and having an awesome time.

.........you've seen and drooled at the Tickford(now FPV) garage with all it's falcon goodies and get inspired and actually purchase an XR.

........you've had withdraw symtoms of the raid the day you come home from the raid during your sleep.

........ you've Increased credit card limit in preparation for the Biiig nights for Raid II going from Raid 1 experience.

........you decide to prepare the car like 1 month before the trip and visit exhaust shops like 6 times to get minor things right

... you accidentally turned Raid I into a roaring success and was so inspired that a week following the event you had a rough sketch of Raid II and Raid III (!!) in your mind and on scraps of paper on your desk.

... you begin waking at odd hours of the night and getting up to check on minor details or write yourself notes.

... you rise at 5am daily and stay up till after midnight cleaning the house and washing laundry so the place can function without you for 5 days.

... you have a sad feeling because although the fun is almost ready to begin, you also know it is almost over for another long year.

... you come home with a gold meadal for go kart racing, even though you are a rookie and drive for Team Girly.

Got that right!! 3 cards this year... Oh shyte.. :oo1:

.. You come home early from an overseas trip just to make the Raid (Et Tu Brutus!)

.. You realise that piss-taking can go to a whole new level.

.. You realise that you really can't drink like a fish, & that 3 1kg steaks followed by 5 pints doesn't make the halfway cut at dinner!

....you sleep in the car one night (of course the night before you see Uncle Geoff) because you went ape at Herrods and need to save the cash

....you bought the latest model Falcon on the showroom floor but having seen what you've seen it already seems old (he he)

....you wonder how such a diverse bunch of misfits (now be honest here people) can have a common interest tieing them together (ha ha LOL)

....there was no chance in hell you'd go to Geelong, BEFORE the Raid.....

...when your bank manager stress's at your finances, then...

...when your bank manager laughs when he realises how much interest you'll be paying.

...your sorrow at leaving the raid, outweights your feelings of happiness seeing your loved one again. (j/k I wub ya honey!)

...you finally discover first hand how minge got his BSR drinking championship.

...you wish you had not tried to take the title.
