I have a '93 Tempo that I bought recently and it definitely has its problems. The biggest concerning me right now is that fact that it won't start. I had an oil problem about a month ago where I had too much in the reservoir and the car wouldn't start, but as soon as I had the proper amount in there, it was fine. The car was fine in the morning, but I went to start it in the afternoon and it just wouldn't turn over. I also recently found out that there is a leak in the top of the gas tank. I'm fairly certain that these 2 things are related, I just want to know if there is anything that I can do to at least get the car started so that I can take it to a shop.

Add some isopropyl and see if that helps. Very likely you're getting moisture in the tank through that leak. If that's not it, you're only out less than $2, but I'm guessing that'll be $2 well spent.
