Depending on what you have for options, you may or may not have a relay. Read on:
OPERATION
Without Speed Control, Without Air Bags
The Horn Switch is mounted in the center of the steering wheel. With the Horn Switch depressed, current flows from Fuse 16 through the Horn Switch to the Low Pitch and High Pitch Horns. The horns sound.
With Speed Control, Without Air Bags
The Horn Switch is mounted in the center of the steering wheel. With the Horn Switch depressed, current flows from Fuse 16 through the Horn Relay coil and the Horn Switch to the Speed Control Amplifier. The Horn Relay coil energizes, the contacts close, and current flows from Fuse 16 through the contacts, to the Low Pitch and High Pitch Horns. The horns sound.
With Air Bags Only
The Horn Switch is mounted in the Multi-function Switch. With the Horn Switch depressed, current flows from Fuse 16 through the Horn Switch to the Low Pitch and High Pitch Horns. The horns sound.
