My tempo is missing a grommet that connects the trottle body linkage to the auto transmisson linkage. This is the linkage that does the same job as a the old vacuum modulater. The trans won't up shift unless the trottle is floored. I rigged it with a zip tie for now and it works ok but it needs org. grommet to be right. Ford dealer said it comes in a linkage set but is now obsolete. Auto parts stores don't seam to be able to help find one. Does any one know where i can gat one of these grommets?

Go to your ford dealership and ask for a 7f330. There is a white and a black version. You want the white. It is a generic bushing that was used on alot of different cars and trucks.

Last time I bought one, it cost me less than $1.50 US.
