Hi all !
i'm looking and Working hard to get out my stock radio to put a Cd Radio ..
but the radio is still Jammed in the hole.
i've tryied to press on the clip (on the driver side) when pulling radio , but doesn't get out.
is there another clip on the right side too ?
if yes, how do you access it , to push it ?
I'll be taking my chainsaw soon......

Yes there is holes on the Right side for the radio tool for the other clip(should come 2 in a package). You need the tools in both sides to remove the radio.

I've tried pushing in both side (at the same time) (in the 4 holes togheter with a metallic coat hanger and pulling the radio, but the clip on the right side is still hanging my radio ... :S

Don't use a coat hangar. You may get lucky, but don't count on luck, because you could also ruin the mount. Spend a couple of bucks on a real Ford radio removal tool. These are two "U" shaped tools with buds on the ends that you slip into the holes on each side of the radio, releases the latches, and helps to slide the radio out.

Again, don't use a coat hangar, you'll just get frustrated.

maybe the "mount" is already ruined !? i don't know ! One side is out, but not the other side ..

where can i buy the special tool ?

Autozone, Advance, etc. I've seen them at Best Buy, also. Probably anywhere that sells aftermarket CD/radio kits.

I had the same issue, you have to put in the u clips that you can buy in wall-mart, that might not work though, heres why. when you put the u clips and try and remove the clips and pull out your radio you might get the metal clips to go outward and prevent you from removing the radio, so put a set on one side and get a screw drived and try and fish them out from one side first then do the next side. you have to get the clips to go to the inside portion on the radio walls. the clips come out like a grapling hook as you are facing them when you put in the "U" shaped clips. so try and get the to the inside of the radio walls. I hope this helps.

Ok so if you have the ford stereo in the car use the keys, but what if you need to remove a stereo from the ford that doesn't have the holes??? What do I do?

These are the two most common radio removal tools, the keys to the car will not work, and you can find these tools at any Walmart or radioshack, or radio store.

Obviously if a non Ford set that has been fitted it will be a different procedure to remove . Have seen on some radios the holes have been covered by 4 small screws which can be unscrewed to get removal pins fitted .Depends entirely on set fitted in car , how you remove it .If you are not sure , go into any car audio shop and they will advise you .
