I bought a used 92 Ford Tempo with over 150,000 miles. After driving the car for about a week I noticed the transmission slipping a little. I took the car to a lube shop to have the fluids checked. The lube shop said the tranny was over filled by a quart. I had the excessive tranny fluid removed and now the tranmission is slipping worse than before. I have been told by the lube shop that the problem may be a clogged tranny filter. I haven't had the transmission filter replaced or transmission flushed. I don't know where to start?

get it flushed and filter cleaned immedatley. if the trans is not properly lubricated it will destroy it!
