I have a 1993 Tempo with very low milage. I drove it from Florida to Texas with no problems. The problem now is that it won't start when it's hot. I don't mean overheated. First start of the day is fine, but when I shut it off it won't start again for about 3 hours. Even if I just go a short distance (2 or 3 miles) it will turn over, but doesn't seem to be getting any gas. I have replaced starter, battery, solenoid,a modual on carb. and relays. What could it be? Does anyone have any ideas? I need help!

If you have a 93 model, then you don't have a carb. Both the 2.3 HSC and 3.0 Vulcan were SPFI (sequential port fuel injection). If you are saying that the starter cranks, but the engine won't fire, then it sounds like a fuel or ignition problem to me. I would first check the fuel filter and fuel pressure. Then I would start checking to see if you have a spark at the plugs.

The car would start first thjing in the morning but after running for a while it won't start again. It doesn't seem to be getting any gas. If the fuel pump relay is bad could this cause it to start when cold and not when hot?
